There has been a lot of debate over whether you should take your car to an authorized service center or local repair shop. Although, it depends on the preferences of the car owner but it would not be wrong to say that each of these types of shops have something good to offer. So let’s understand how the repair shops and authorized service centers compare against each other. If the car is purchased recently and it is under warranty then going to the authorized dealer or service repair center would be a better idea. However, if the warranty has expired, then you can always visit a reputed repair shops that have best of the solution and might be for comparatively lesser price. 

Gone are the times when the local repair shops were not as good as the authorized repair shops. Nowadays, these shops come laced with all sorts of advanced machines and tools that give the same service as the authorized repair shops. In fact, a little bit of research into this area shows that there are a lot of issues that can be resolved by the independent mechanics in a manner as efficient as the dealer. For instance, research suggests that if an old model car has an electronic gremlin then it can be resolved by the dealer as well as by the independent mechanic in a great way.   

One area where you would face an issue would be finding a good independent mechanic like Ace Auto. While going straight to the dealer if there is any issue has always been an easier option, looking for a quality third party mechanic could take some time.
